Applications of Methylparaben

Methylparaben also called as Nipagin is white crystalline powder. Odorless And Tasteless .Easily soluble in alcohol, ether and acetone, slightly soluble in water. It can be refined by the means of esterification catalyzed by sulfuric acid of p-hydroxybenzoic acid and methanol. Generally speaking, the performance of methylparaben is extremely stable. Even at high temperature (100 ℃ less), it will not occur decomposition or the change of bacteriostatic activity. It is a kind of important material that is widely used in many areas.
Methylparaben is organic intermediates that is generally used for pharmaceutical, food, spices, additives, preservative of film and so on.
